Plan Your Trip, Useful Tips

Crossing the Border

Allow extra time at the San Ysidro or Otay Mesa crossing, especially on weekends and holidays. Have passports ready for all travelers, and keep your vehicle registration and insurance documents handy. Consider using the Ready Lane or Sentri lanes if your group qualifies.

Driving to Club Marena

Most guests drive south from San Diego on the scenic coastal highway toward Rosarito. Club Marena is at Km 38.5 on the Carretera Tijuana–Ensenada. See our Directions page for a preset route and travel times.

What to Bring

Pack sun protection, comfortable beachwear, and layers for cool evenings. U.S. cell plans may work near the border; a local SIM or Wi‑Fi at the condo can help farther south. Bring any prescription medications and a credit card for tolls, groceries, and dining.

Club Marena Entry & Guest Regulations

Club Marena is a gated community. Check-in details and access instructions are sent before your arrival. Please observe quiet hours, pool and common-area rules, and the guest limit for your reservation. Only registered guests may use the facilities.

Supermarkets Nearby

Grocery stores and markets are available in Rosarito and along the highway toward Tijuana and Ensenada. Many guests stock up on water, snacks, and breakfast items before heading to the condo. Larger selections are often found in Tijuana or Ensenada if you are driving that direction.
